Entry Formalities/Visas – IPS Nairobi

Entry Formalities/Visas

A valid passport, not expiring for at least six months, is required for entry into Kenya. Conference participants will require a valid entry visa in the form of a ‘Single Entry Visa’, with certain countries exempted from this requirement. For the latest visa information for different nationalities and for the online visa application, please visit the Department of Immigration’s evisa website, or contact the Kenyan Embassy or High Commission in your country of residence. In the absence of either, the British Embassy will generally represent Kenya in the issuance of visas. Visas may also be obtained upon arrival, although this process is time-consuming and not recommended.

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required only if you are arriving in Kenya from an infected area.
